Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement Manager

As a Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will drive digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives across our multi-country Operations organization in Central Europe.

The purpose of this role is to make the way we work simpler and more effective — by identifying the right improvement opportunities, turning business needs into practical digital solutions and engaging the Operations community in continuous improvement.

This is a role that combines hands-on technical development with end-to-end ownership and business impact. You will work closely with Operations teams to understand their needs, prioritize initiatives based on business value, and design and implement solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Query, Excel/VBA and SAP scripting.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the intake process to gather and understand the needs of the Operations community.

• Translate business needs into practical digital solutions and select the most appropriate tools and technologies.

• Take end-to-end ownership of solutions — from process analysis and design through development and implementation to maintenance.

• Design and deliver solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Query, Excel/VBA and SAP scripting.

• Build and develop a network of Continuous Improvement Ambassadors across Operations.

• Promote a continuous improvement culture by creating opportunities to share ideas, identify improvement opportunities and involve employees in improvement initiatives.

• Support the development of digital capabilities within the Operations community through knowledge sharing, coaching and hands-on involvement in selected projects.

• Act as a key link between Operations and IT, collaborating with local, European and global IT teams and the wider Danone network to align on tools and approaches.

• Cooperate with external technology solution and support providers when required.

About You

You are an experienced digital transformation professional who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with business process understanding, end-to-end ownership and a continuous improvement mindset.

You are comfortable both building solutions yourself and working with stakeholders to understand their needs, define priorities and turn ideas into practical improvements. You can communicate effectively across different parts of the organization and support others in developing their digital capabilities.

You bring:

• Around 5 years of professional experience, including 2–3 years in a similar role.

• An appropriate university degree or relevant practical training.

• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, VBA and SAP scripting.

• Strong hands-on capabilities in Power BI, Power Query and Excel.

• The ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into practical, fit-for-purpose digital solutions.

• Experience in taking ownership of solutions across their lifecycle, from initial process analysis to implementation and maintenance.

• The ability to prioritize initiatives based on business value and select appropriate tools and technologies.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• The ability to work effectively across Operations, IT and the wider organization.

• The ability to share knowledge and coach less experienced developers.

• English fluent level.
