Job Summary
The Vice President, Technology Strategy & Operations is responsible for leading the operating model that supports the development, commercialization, adoption, and scaling of AMN's technology solutions. This role serves as a strategic partner across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure technology investments align with business objectives, client needs, and market opportunities.
The Vice President will oversee technology operations, product launch readiness, adoption programs, business performance, and cross-functional initiatives that drive customer adoption, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
Location: Hybrid in San Diego, CA, Dallas, TX, or Boca Raton, FL
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Partner with technology and business leaders to execute technology growth strategies and operational priorities.
- Support technology portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and business case development.
- Evaluate market trends, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and growth opportunities.
Product Commercialization & Go-to-Market Leadership
- Lead cross-functional planning and execution for technology product launches and enhancements.
- Partner with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success to drive successful commercialization.
- Establish launch readiness, adoption goals, and governance processes for technology initiatives.
- Develop programs that support customer acquisition, adoption, retention, and expansion.
Adoption & Change Management
- Develop and execute enterprise technology adoption strategies.
- Partner with Learning & Development and Customer Success teams to drive user engagement and adoption.
- Monitor adoption, utilization, and business outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Establish governance and operational processes supporting scalable adoption.
Technology Operations & Execution
- Develop operational frameworks and performance management processes supporting technology growth.
- Align business priorities with product roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Lead operational readiness for technology implementations and transformation initiatives.
- Optimize processes across Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation teams.
Analytics & Performance Management
- Define and monitor KPIs related to adoption, revenue growth, customer engagement, retention, utilization, and operational performance.
- Develop executive reporting and dashboard frameworks.
- Deliver performance insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead enterprise initiatives across Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success.
- Build alignment among stakeholders to support business and technology objectives.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure technology solutions meet market needs.
Required Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of progressive experience in technology, product, operations, strategy, business transformation, or related leadership roles
ORHigh School Diploma/GED and 19+ years of equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in one or more of the following:
- Technology Operations
- Product Operations
- Product Management
- Business Operations
- Sales Operations
- Digital Transformation
- Management Consulting
Experience launching and scaling enterprise software, SaaS platforms, technology-enabled services, or digital products.
Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technology solutions.
Experience driving product adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success organizations.
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within matrixed organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree (MBA, Technology Management, or related field).
- Healthcare technology experience.
- Workforce solutions, healthcare staffing, VMS/MSP, or workforce management experience.
- Experience with product commercialization, adoption programs, pricing strategies, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Experience leading enterprise business transformation initiatives.

Pay Rate
$148,500 - $185,500 SalaryFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
