Site Service Technician

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Site Service Technician (Day shift) based at our Springhill TN, location.

What you will do: 

Onsite Repair:   

• Identify Issues. 

• Suggest Improvement. 

• Repair forklift trucks.  

Onsite Inspection:   

• Perform physical inspection of the complete fleet every two weeks as signed by Saturn Manager. 

• Process all paperwork in a timely manner and escalate any safety concerns immediately to management.  

• Lift equipment made available for heavier items, up to 55 lbs.  

• Utilize hand tools sufficient to perform maintenance and services.  

• General computer tasks. 

What you will need: 

• Minimum, High school diploma. 

• Zero to five years of relevant work experience. 

• Entry-level understanding of mechanical and electrical (AC and DC) troubleshooting skills. 

Skills, Experience & Abilities: 

• Excellent written and oral / verbal communication skills. 

• Entry-level understanding of mechanical and electrical (AC and DC) troubleshooting skills. 

• Basic mechanical skills including electrical diagrams and hydraulic systems to tie in with daily maintenance required to meet the customer’s expectations. 

• Must be motivated, and willing and able to work safely in high pressure environments. 

• Must be able to adapt readily to project changes and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

• Ability to work well both within team atmospheres and independently with little supervision. 

• Flexibility with working off-hours (within reason as needed) to support the Spring Hill Fleet is required.
