Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, students, faculty, staff, and guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public areas, educational spaces, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
