Operations Central Team (OCT) Diffusion/Implant Manufacturing Alignment Senior Engineer/Staff Engineer will drive tool and process optimization, global manufacturing alignment, and preventive maintenance standardization across the Micron network. This role will collaborate with equipment and process engineering teams to improve tool utilization, develop safe shutdown and recovery procedures, deploy equipment and process BKMs, and sustain global standards through systems such as SEAL. The position requires strong technical experience in the Diffusion or Implant area, problem-solving capability, effective cross-functional communication, and the ability to support AI-assisted data analysis and workflow improvement.

## Responsibilities:
- Improve tool utilization to meet world-class standards by refining processes that eliminate underutilized tools and enable cost savings through strategic cold/warm shutdowns.
- Develop globally aligned warm shutdown procedures that ensure safety and flawless recovery to production.
- Standardize practices and proven methods (BKMs) across process areas by establishing global alignment teams and crafting a comprehensive library of BKMs for equipment and process engineers.
- Coordinate and unify Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures across the Micron network, ensuring accessibility and efficiency via a standardized system.
- Deploy and sustain SEAL system BKMs globally, ensuring critical processes are standardized and successfully maintained.
## Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an associated field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering role within the Diffusion or Implant area, with a focus on tool and process optimization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a group setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain coordination with various collaborators.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment and area materials safety concerns in area of focus.
## Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with global standardization of manufacturing processes.
- Experience handling SEAL systems and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to guide and support teams in achieving their objectives.
- AI-Assisted Data Analysis.
- AI Agent Utilization and Development, Workflow Redesign with AI.
