We're looking for a dedicated HR/Payroll Coordinator who enjoys helping people, values accuracy, and takes pride in creating a positive employee experience. If you're someone who loves solving problems, staying organized, and supporting a team, we'd love to meet you.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our beautiful facility.
What You'll Do
As our HR/Payroll Coordinator, you'll be a trusted resource for our employees throughout their journey—from onboarding through payroll, benefits, and day-to-day HR support. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure our team members are paid accurately, supported professionally, and treated with care.
Responsibilities
Process payroll weekly and bi-weekly accurately and on schedule.
Maintain records for electronic timekeeping and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required background checks.
Maintain files ensuring confidential personnel data complies with state and federal regulations.
Administer benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Track compliance for leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and employee documentation.
Serve as contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.
Assist with reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.
Foster culture to help create a positive, welcoming workplace for all employees.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is organized, approachable, dependable, and enjoys supporting others.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of payroll and human resources experience.
Industry: Healthcare, skilled nursing, or post-acute experience is preferred.
Systems: Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems (Workday experience is highly preferred).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of California labor laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations.
Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.
Traits: High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
