This opportunity is ideal for an experienced leader with strong executive presence, deep Buy & Bill expertise, and a demonstrated ability to build, coach, and lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to build a strong and diverse team with the capabilities needed to meet current and future business objectives.

  • Provide strategic leadership for geographic access plans, including customer prioritization, resource allocation, opportunity identification, and implementation planning aligned with AstraZeneca’s access goals.

  • Apply advanced Buy & Bill business acumen by understanding the economic, operational, and market factors that influence biologics utilization and account decision-making.

  • Drive cross-functional communication and collaboration with Brand Partners, Contracting, Executive and Commercial Business Directors, District Sales Managers, Biologic Sales Specialists, Contract Operations, and other key partners.

  • Lead quarterly business reviews for supported Brand teams, translating access performance, market dynamics, customer insights, and strategic opportunities into concise, compelling, executive-level recommendations.

  • Guide customer and internal business planning, including action plan development, issue resolution, opportunity assessment, and alignment of resources to meet customer needs and AstraZeneca business objectives.

  • Monitor and communicate market intelligence related to competitive activity, healthcare policy developments, reimbursement changes, and other external factors that may affect AstraZeneca’s business or market position.

  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships by identifying solutions, leveraging internal resources, and advancing partnerships that support appropriate access to AstraZeneca’s FDA-approved products.

  • Lead development processes for direct reports, including timely performance appraisals, development planning, coaching conversations, and compensation recommendations.

  • Manage administrative and operational responsibilities with discipline, including budget oversight, expense review, reporting compliance, data accuracy, and coordination with Contract Operations.

  • Represent AstraZeneca externally through participation in industry meetings and conferences, including formal presentations where appropriate.

  • Ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct, the AZ US Policy Handbook, all relevant company policies, and all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
