Job Description
The leasing agent is responsible for leasing apartments and providing exceptional customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and resident retention.
The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives.
He or she must demonstrate a commitment to anticipating and exceeding the expectations of residents and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain an effective marketing strategy for vacant units.
• Coordinate showings from all marketing sources.
• Effectively lease vacant apartments and reduce vacancies through individual appointments and open houses.
• Be responsible for compiling complete application files, preparing leases, and handling all aspects of the move-in process.
• Enter prospect data into all required management systems.
• Stay informed about pricing, products, and incentives offered
• Proactively identify necessary changes based on current trends and market competition.
• Maintain close contact with clients and deliver a compelling final presentation.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years or more of experience in residential leasing.
• Bilingual in English and French required.
• Availability including weekends required.

• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent (GED) required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Creative and an excellent negotiator.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Organizational and administrative skills.
• Availability to work weekends, as needed or directed.
• Experience with Yardi is a plus.

What we offer:

Full-time permanent position
Competitive salary based on experience $50,000 to $55,000 + commissions ($1,000 to $3,000 per month on average)
