Description

At ING, you'll join a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing culture where your expertise is valued and your ideas can make a real impact.

As Liquidity Risk Manager within our Market Risk team, you'll play a critical role in helping the bank maintain a strong and sustainable liquidity and funding position, working at the intersection of risk, treasury and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to influence key risk decisions, provide independent oversight and challenge on liquidity and funding risk matters, partner with senior stakeholders across the business and help shape the future of risk management within one of Australia's leading digital banks.

As a trusted risk advisor, you'll leverage your quantitative expertise and commercial acumen to assess emerging risks, deliver meaningful insights to senior stakeholders and contribute to key decisions that shape the bank's balance sheet and risk profile. You'll also have the opportunity to work on complex regulatory and prudential matters, stress testing initiatives and risk framework enhancements in a dynamic and evolving environment.

What you'll do

  • Support the development and ongoing enhancement of liquidity and funding risk frameworks, policies and risk appetite.

  • Design, execute and analyse liquidity stress testing to assess risk exposures under a range of market scenarios.

  • Deliver timely and insightful liquidity and funding risk reporting to senior management, committees and regulators.

  • Provide independent review and challenge of liquidity risk management practices and assumptions.

  • Partner with Treasury, Risk and business stakeholders to support sound risk-based decision making.

What we're looking for

  • Proven knowledge of liquidity and funding risk management, stress testing and prudential requirements.

  • 5+ years' experience in liquidity risk, treasury risk or a related risk discipline within banking.

  • Understanding of APRA standards and broader regulatory developments impacting liquidity risk.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Studies or a related quantitative discipline.

  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical outcomes.

What’s in it for you?

  • Discounted ING Health Insurance

  • An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing

  • An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
