Description
Our client is a boutique hospitality group located in Bingin, Uluwatu, Bali, operating an exclusive clifftop villa and dining concept overlooking the ocean. They are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations of the property.
This role will be responsible for leading the HR department, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance to ensure seamless operational efficiency and a strong workplace culture aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Manager within the luxury hospitality, boutique resort, or high-end F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian Labour Law (UU Ketenagakerjaan), BPJS, employment contracts, and regional Bali labor regulations.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, talent retention, and performance management strategies.
- Strong capabilities in designing organisational structures, learning & development plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Proficient in HRIS, payroll processing systems, time attendance software, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all department heads and staff.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken, to interact effectively with diverse staff and management.
- A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-end lifestyle resort environment.
Key Responsibilites:
- Lead and oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with the overall business goals of the property.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes to source, recruit, and retain top talent for luxury hospitality and high-end culinary positions.
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian Labor Law, BPJS programs, local Bali employment regulations, and company guidelines.
- Oversee payroll processing, time attendance tracking, employee benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.
- Design and execute learning and development programs, training modules, and career progression pathways for staff across all operational departments.
- Drive employee engagement programs, foster a positive workplace culture, and maintain high standards of team morale and retention.
- Handle employee grievances, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in a professional and fair manner.
- Collaborate closely with Department Heads and General Management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and headcount budgeting.
- Serve as the main point of contact for external labor relations, local community leaders (banjar), and government authorities as required.
