Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Role Perimeter Checks in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and report access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely activity reports and maintain awareness of changing site conditions, escalating unusual observations in accordance with established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
