Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance

We are looking for an independent experienced Test Engineer to join our team to help us deliver a large-scale systems integration programme.

As part of a small, agile team the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of test documentation and execution, working with the chief engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with an international team, and with Customer stakeholders to design, create and execute tests. The role will require the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team, ranging from technical personnel to programme leadership and to customer representatives.

The role includes executing tests across a variety of software products, their interfaces and network & infrastructure configurations, and identifying and managing resulting defects.

What will I be doing?

• Generating and reviewing Test Plans, Designs and Reports, working with suppliers and senior stakeholders

• Generating Test Cases by reviewing of change requests, requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs

• Building an automated suite of regression tests

• Documenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issues

• Investigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolution

• Identifying improvements in new and existing processes

What does Leidos need from me?

• Experience including ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing

• Excellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration Testing

• Demonstrable systems integration experience including integrating 3rd party systems or components

Pay Range:

£47,600.00-£61,000.00
