The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Data Science Engineer, you’ll help shape the advanced machine learning and quantitative research solutions behind our real-time pricing and market-making capabilities across sports and entertainment. You’ll partner with Quantitative Traders, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to advance modeling and trading strategies, influence technical direction, and turn complex data into actionable insights. Your work will move ideas from experimentation to production, driving measurable trading performance and strengthening our decision-making capabilities.
What you’ll do as a Senior Data Science Engineer
Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced machine learning models and quantitative frameworks that power pricing, market-making, and other customer-facing and internal capabilities.
Analyze large, complex market, trading, and sports datasets to uncover insights, inform strategy, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Architect and optimize scalable data pipelines and algorithmic engines that support high-performance, real-time systems.
Turn ambiguous business challenges into clear technical approaches, partnering with Quantitative Traders, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Drive model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management in production environments, ensuring solutions remain reliable, scalable, and impactful.
Establish best practices for backtesting, experimentation, model evaluation, and code quality while mentoring teammates and raising technical standards across the team.
What you’ll bring
A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning, quantitative research, or advanced analytics solutions in production environments; experience in financial markets, market-making, sports betting, prediction markets, or other real-time decision systems is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience working with libraries and frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
A deep understanding of statistics, probability, experimental design, applied machine learning, and quantitative modeling techniques.
Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets and integrating data across distributed and real-time systems.
The ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions and communicate your approach and insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
A track record of working independently, influencing technical direction, and driving complex initiatives from concept through production.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 120,800.00 USD - 151,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
