This position supports or leads the development, integration and maintenance of robust electronic components as they are used in the assembly, test and operation of automotive roof system modules.Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:

- Develop and support LabVIEW-based applications for both production and laboratory environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated end-of-line (EOL) test stations for assembly lines, ensuring robust performance and integration with manufacturing systems.
- Participate in design reviews with equipment suppliers, clearly communicating scope of work, technical specifications, and bill of materials (BOM) for test systems.
- Create and maintain diagnostic tools and NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) applications to support product validation and troubleshooting.
- Provide operational and diagnostic documentation to Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure proper use and maintenance of test systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) initiatives.
- Work closely with Electrical Engineering to implement motor and controller testing requirements in both lab and production settings.
- Support Manufacturing and Quality teams in resolving plant build issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Deliver test data, interpret results, and develop reporting tools to support decision-making on the assembly line.
- Update and maintain DFMEA / FTA related to test systems and diagnostics.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by optimizing test processes and equipment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a prioritized list of open items and work requests.
- Communicate project status and updates to internal stakeholders in a timely and effective manner.
- Document test processes and train team members on the use of software tools and systems.
- Follow current standards, contribute to the development of future standards, and ensure implementation of software, hardware, and process guidelines to support global consistency.
- Provide global support for automation projects, including remote troubleshooting and occasional international travel.
What Do We Expect From You:
Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer
Experience and capability: 2-5 years' experience in a technical position within the automotive industry
Fluent English
Proficiency in LabVIEW
