Job Description Summary
The Portfolio Specialist is the operational backbone of portfolio and product life cycle execution. The role ensures that portfolio decisions are accurately implemented across systems, processes, and stakeholders, with strong ownership of PIM governance, SKU data quality, and cross‑functional coordination for product changes, transitions, and fast‑track initiatives.Job Description
Responsibilities
You drive portfolio execution and operational excellence.
Enable cross-functional execution of portfolio and lifecycle decisions, ensuring accurate implementation across systems, processes, and stakeholders. Support fast, controlled execution of portfolio changes and ensure alignment across functions. You enable fast-track product changes and small projects.
Manage small product iterations, offsets, and fast-track initiatives within the existing portfolio. Coordinate inputs from Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to accelerate time-to-market while ensuring governance and data accuracy.
You coordinate product transfers and lifecycle execution.
Manage and coordinate product and SKU transfers across plants, ensuring continuity of supply and accurate execution. Support lifecycle transitions, including new SKU creation, phase-outs, and supply alignment.
You drive PIM governance and product data accuracy.
Own PIM governance and ensure accurate, complete, and consistent product master data across systems. Coordinate product documentation updates and enable data-driven portfolio execution.
You support lifecycle implementation and cross-functional alignment.
Ensure lifecycle decisions are correctly reflected in systems and aligned with Supply Chain planning parameters (e.g. safety stock, lead times). Support SIOP processes and ensure clear communication of portfolio changes across stakeholders.
You provide commercial and customer-facing support.
Act as operational interface for portfolio-related topics, supporting Sales and Marketing with product data, changes, and impacts of portfolio decisions. Ensure clarity towards customers and support execution close to the market
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Strong portfolio execution capability in a complex environment:
Ability to manage detailed portfolio execution across a multi-plant and multi-region environment, ensuring accurate implementation of lifecycle, product, and data changes.
Strong operational and process discipline:
Ensures structured and reliable execution of portfolio processes, balancing speed, accuracy, and compliance across systems and stakeholders.
Cross-functional coordination and stakeholder support:
Collaborates effectively with Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, R&D, and Innovation to enable smooth execution of portfolio decisions and resolve operational challenges.
Data accuracy and systems orientation:
Maintains high-quality product and lifecycle data in PIM and related systems, enabling consistent reporting, decision-making, and execution.

Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in product management support, portfolio operations or similar roles.
Skills: PIM/ERP systems, data quality management, project coordination, Power BI familiarity.
Language: Fluent English.
Working arrangements: Porto Based, Hybrid working
Travel: Limited, as required
