Job Description:

At Johnson & Johnson MedTech, we believe health is everything. Our strength in healthcare innovation empowers us to help build a world where complex diseases are prevented, treated, and cured, where treatments are smarter, less invasive, and more personalized. Through our leadership in Innovative Medicine and MedTech, we are uniquely positioned to deliver end-to-end healthcare solutions that create impact today and drive the breakthroughs of tomorrow, advancing health for humanity.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is globally recognized as a leader in advanced 3D cardiac electroanatomical mapping and navigation. Guided by the needs of electrophysiologists, we have pioneered groundbreaking innovations, from the first deflectable-tip catheter to today’s most sophisticated 3D mapping and navigation systems.

Operating in a rapidly growing and constantly evolving Electrophysiology market, Electrophysiology is a key growth driver for the business. Our close partnerships with customers enable deep clinical insights, a strong and differentiated product portfolio, and a robust innovation pipeline focused on shaping the future of cardiac care.

Summary and Scope

Atrial Fibrillation (AFIB) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure, and other heart-related complications. Twenty million people worldwide suffer from AFIB each year.

Biosense Webster, Inc. is the global leader in the science of diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The company established its leadership in electrophysiology through the development of the first real-time 3D cardiac mapping and navigation technology, as well as the first electrophysiology catheter. The launch of the CARTO® 3 System in 2009 revolutionized 3D mapping technology by improving the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of cardiac ablation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized clinical product support, technical assistance, and training to physicians and EP lab staff on the effective use of Biosense Webster (BW) catheter systems and equipment (including the CARTO® System, related software modules, and RF generators) during procedures within an assigned territory, contributing to and exceeding business objectives.

  • Stay current on product Instructions for Use (IFUs), best practices, technical troubleshooting, clinical literature, and new product developments.
  • Prioritize and respond appropriately to requests in a high-pressure environment.
  • Maintain composure and focus on problem-solving during stressful interactions.
  • Participate in diagnostic discussions with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions based on insights gathered.
  • Provide guidance and support to new members of the BW commercial team as needed.
  • Respond daily to customer, professional, and partner inquiries via email and voicemail.
  • Complete administrative activities, including account documentation management, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and company system updates.
  • Maintain safe driving and fleet standards according to company guidelines.
  • Communicate business-related issues and opportunities to management.
  • Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies and ensure required resources are available and maintained appropriately.
