Job Description
We're looking for a Motion Designer/Editor to join our team as part of the MARS social creative production team. This is a bespoke team created specifically to serve the always-on needs of MARS snacking. Born from many parts of the Publicis Groupe UK network, we work as one team to support the client's needs for all things social.
We are looking for a Social Motion Designer to create platform-native, scroll-stopping motion content for social media. You will collaborate with creative teams, content creators, and designers to bring ideas to life across social platforms, working in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
A bit more about the MARS project: we’re responsible for 6 popular snacking brands: M&M’S, Maltesers, Extra, Airwaves, Twix, and Snickers. We create all their always-on content across 4 markets: the UK, NL, DE, and FR and you’ll work closely with a team of creatives, producers, creators, designers, and editors.
Responsibilities
- Be a social-first motion designer/editor, creating thumb-stopping, platform-native content
- Turn concepts into high-quality motion and edits with fast turnaround
- Work quickly with a flexible, trend-aware visual style
- Collaborate with creatives, creators, client teams, and producers across projects
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a social agency
- Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and formats
- Ability to work fast and manage quick turnarounds without sacrificing quality
- Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Sharp eye for timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
- Experience adapting content for multiple aspect ratios and platforms
- Ability to interpret briefs and iterate quickly based on feedback
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
