Job Summary Overview

The position is responsible for managing internal and external projects to deliver on projects through quality planning, requirements definition and implementation. 

Essential Job Functions

• Develops and completes requests for proposals (RFP), requests for information (RFI), statements of work (SOW), and the technical and contract review process in connection with any new vendor relationships. 
• Gathers information for information system structures, processes, and protocols. 
• Oversees all aspects of projects, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and communication progress of projects to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope and negotiated timeframes. 
• Forecasts project completion estimates and prepare status reports for the benefit of senior leadership. 
• Works directly with project team members to ensure tasks are completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Position Required Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Associates degree and three (3) years’ experience managing large scale projects in technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using traditional and agile project management methodologies including the proper application. Experience in leading cross-functional organizational wide project teams. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of computers and software applications in Windows, Word, Excel, and MS Project (or other project management tool). Ability to type 40 wpm. Ability to read, write speak, and use proper grammar in English. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and document technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to define situations, document data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to calculate rates, rations, and percentages. 

Licenses, Training, and Certifications Required

None.

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management certification.

• Occasionally be required to stand; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
• Frequently be required to walk and sit. 
• Regularly be required to use hands to finger keys accurately when use computer keyboards and reach with hands and arms. 
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. 
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. 
• The employee must be able to travel independently to department and branch locations.
