Job Summary

Compensation: $20 per hour

NATURE OF WORK:

Performs a variety of complex clerical and statistical record keeping duties related to the grades, attendance and enrollment according to established policies and procedures. Receives, sets up, and evaluates records, updates files. Maintains and archives academic records.

Examples of Duties:

*Enrolls new students.

*Verifies that parents have all required documents.

*Verifies enrollment and attendance and grades

*Receives new data and/or revisions, enters data, and routes updated information to appropriate staff or departments.

*Creates reports on missing or incomplete attendance and grades and other pertinent data points to ensure accuracy.

*Prepares special reports, including those that are 21st mandated, requiring accessing and extracting data from the student information system for eventual submittal to state and other agencies.

*Performs attendance compilations and other administrative support the overall objective of the position

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, plus (3) three years of experience providing administrative support in records, attendance, and data entry of student information required; or a combination of education, training and experience.

College-level coursework is preferred. A valid Florida Driver's License is required.

VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVERLICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.

THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
