What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Research & Content Creation: analyse market developments, industry trends, and company-specific events, and contribute to internal and external research publications
• Financial Analysis: review financial statements, assess company performance, and support credit and investment analysis across various sectors
• Company & Industry Research: gather and evaluate information on companies, industries, and market developments to support research recommendations and investment views
• Financial Modelling: maintain and update financial models, valuation tools, and company databases used in research and credit analysis
• Market Intelligence: monitor credit markets, economic developments, and issuer-specific news to identify key risks and opportunities
• Publication Management: assist in preparing, formatting, distributing, and maintaining research reports, publications, and presentation materials
• External Engagement: attend investor meetings, industry conferences, earnings briefings, and market events to gain first-hand insights into market developments
• Stakeholder Collaboration: work with stakeholders across Global Markets, Wealth Management, Private Banking, Risk Management, and other internal partners to support research initiatives
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on special research assignments, thematic analyses, and strategic initiatives as assigned

Who You Work With

Credit Research sits within Global Markets and provides independent research, market intelligence, and investment insights across credit markets. You'll work alongside experienced and licensed research analysts who support clients, internal stakeholders, and senior management with actionable insights and investment recommendations. Through this role, you'll gain valuable exposure to credit analysis, investment research, portfolio assessment, and the broader Global Markets business.This is the broad job description of the job profile. Who You Are

• Strong interest in financial markets, investments, and credit analysis
• Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with financial statements and financial analysis
• Background in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent written, reading, and verbal communication skills in English
• Able to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Comfortable working with data, financial models, and quantitative analysis
• Familiarity with Bloomberg and programming skills would be advantageous
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
• Available for a minimum full-time internship commitment of 6 months
