What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Digital Product Development: assist the team in launching and supporting digital financial products on private blockchain platforms
• Process Automation: develop and enhance Python-based tools and scripts to automate desk processes, improve reporting efficiency, and strengthen risk monitoring capabilities
• Risk Analytics Support: assist in aggregating and analysing risk exposures across portfolios to support risk management and decision-making activities
• P&L Analysis: support the enhancement of tools used for P&L explain and performance attribution analysis
• Data Management & Reporting: prepare and validate data used in risk analysis, product monitoring, and management reporting
• Innovation Initiatives: support research and implementation efforts relating to digital assets, blockchain technologies, and emerging market solutions
• Business Support: assist with presentation materials, documentation, and operational activities supporting the desk's daily functions
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on strategic initiatives, system enhancements, and other projects as assigned

Who You Work With

The Asset Allocation, Risk Strategy & XVA team supports Global Markets through advanced risk analytics, portfolio strategies, and innovative market solutions. You'll work alongside professionals with expertise in trading, quantitative analysis, risk management, and technology, gaining valuable insights into how market risk, valuation adjustments, and digital innovation are integrated within a leading financial institution. Through this role, you'll be exposed to both traditional financial markets and emerging technologies shaping the future of finance.

Who You Are

• Open to learning and feedback
• Strong interest in financial markets, technology, and innovation
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA and macros
• Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working with data and quantitative analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Curious about digital assets, blockchain technologies, and process automation
• Knowledge of quantitative finance concepts or derivatives valuation would be advantageous
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
