Role Description
- We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a proven track record of driving portfolio governance, financial management, and strategic technology initiatives to join our Technology organization in Bangalore.
- As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end investment governance process, portfolio planning, financial management, and delivery governance across a portfolio of technology initiatives. You will partner closely with senior business stakeholders, technology leads, COO functions, and Finance teams to ensure strategic objectives are delivered within agreed timelines, budgets, and risk tolerances.
- In this role, you will be accountable for portfolio planning, governance execution, budget management, resource planning, and stakeholder engagement. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing transparency on delivery progress, risks, and investment outcomes while driving continuous improvements across governance processes.
- You will be part of the Technology organization supporting Investment Banking platforms and transformational change initiatives across multiple domains and regions.

Your key responsibilities
- Manage the annual Investment Governance process, partnering with business stakeholders to define strategic priorities, budgets, and key deliverables.
- Lead portfolio governance activities including planning, prioritization, execution oversight, and delivery management.
- Track and report project and portfolio status, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies (RAID), milestones, and financial performance to senior management.
- Partner with delivery leads and technology managers to govern execution against agreed outcomes, timelines, and financial commitments.
- Drive governance forums and decision-making processes to ensure efficient delivery within approved budget and schedule constraints.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders, influencing priorities and driving alignment across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews to proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and escalate risks impacting delivery objectives.
- Drive resource allocation, capacity planning, and demand management to optimize delivery across programs and portfolios.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to maximize strategic roadmap alignment, identify synergies, simplify processes, and improve operational efficiencies.
- Produce executive dashboards, governance reports, management presentations, and portfolio health assessments for senior stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across portfolio management, governance processes, tooling, and reporting capabilities.
Your skills and experience
- Minimum 14+ years of experience in Program Management, Portfolio Management, PMO, COO, Business Management, or Technology Governance functions.
- Proven experience managing large-scale technology portfolios, strategic programs, and investment governance processes.
- Strong expertise in portfolio budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost management, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing and reporting RAID metrics across complex delivery landscapes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives and drive organizational alignment.
- Experience partnering with Technology, COO, Finance, and Business stakeholders in a global organization.
- Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, delivery lifecycle management, and portfolio controls.
- Hands-on experience with Clarity, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and portfolio management reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience preparing materials for senior management and governance forums.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience within Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, or Financial Services organizations is preferred.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
