Alphanumeric is hiring a FINANCE MANAGER to work a hybrid schedule in Marietta, PA with our client of 20+ years, a global organization committed to improving lives through medical and pharmaceutical advancements.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Site Finance Head, the Finance Manager will support financial planning, reporting, compliance, and control activities for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This position will also serve as a key Finance Business Partner to Engineering, Planning, and Logistics, providing financial guidance related to budgets, forecasts, cost management, capital investments, and operational decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site financial processes, reporting, controls, and month-end activities, providing coverage for the Site Finance Head as needed.
- Serve as the primary finance partner for Engineering, Planning, and Logistics, supporting budget development, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost center management.
- Review and oversee completion of the month-end SAP toll process performed by the SMAS Hub.
- Prepare product costing and cost estimates for new products using standard toll-manufacturing costing methodologies.
- Maintain the fixed asset ledger and support the financial closure of Assets Under Construction (AUC) projects.
- Provide financial analysis and support for site projects, including capital investment initiatives.
- Support preparation of the Annual Plan, including OPEX, recoveries, and standard product costing.
- Prepare and review intercompany transactions for accuracy and compliance.
- Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to site and company requirements.
- Partner with local, regional, and global teams on financial reporting, issue resolution, and process implementation.
Qualifications
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, fixed assets, and/or general ledger accounting.
- Experience supporting finance within a manufacturing, operational, or similarly complex environment.
- Experience with SAP or another enterprise ERP system for financial transactions and reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, along with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, variance analysis, product costing, and cost management.
- Knowledge of fixed assets, capital project accounting, and Assets Under Construction (AUC) processes.
- Working knowledge of internal controls, financial compliance requirements, and accurate transaction recording.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Operations, and site leadership is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of Pennsylvania Sales & Use Tax compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- CPA or CMA preferred, but not required.
