This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Global Tax Reporting. The role follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees expected to be in the office three days per week and working the remaining days remotely.

Role Overview:
As a Tax Manager, you will be a key member of the finance team, partnering closely with the business on a wide range of tax matters. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, Domestic Tax and Global Transfer Pricing, you will be responsible for corporate income and indirect tax compliance, accurate quarterly reporting, transfer pricing analysis, special projects, and tax technology innovations. Your expertise will provide insightful and practical advice to help the business and senior management make strategic and tactical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quarterly forecast and year-end tax accounting computations, including analysis of key international tax aspects such as GILTI with review and coordination from the Senior Tax Manager, Global Tax Reporting (30% of time)
• Assist in implementing special projects, including tax planning, M&A, and corporate initiatives (28% of time)
• Lead management of all US federal and state tax compliance with coordination and review from the Senior Tax Manager, Global Tax Reporting, and the Senior Tax Manager, International Tax (17,% of time)
• Lead sales and use tax compliance and controversy (10% of time)
• Manage and support Federal and State tax audits (15% of time)
• Monitor tax legislation and assess its impact on the company with high visibility, providing regular updates and reports to senior management
• Promote new ideas and innovative planning opportunities using artificial intelligence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred
• Proven experience with US GAAP ASC 740 and corporate tax compliance, with exposure to international tax issues such as GILTI and FDII computations and a basic understanding of transfer pricing principles
• Experience creating multi-year tax models is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a combination global publicly traded companies and Big Four accounting firms
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely
• Superior attention to detail and ability to highlight unexpected results
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities within deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Provision software is advantageous
• Outstanding analytical skills, including the ability to understand and evaluate complex tax principles
• Strong collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in using artificial intelligence for work productivity is highly preferred

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 120,000 USD - 150,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a sales incentive plan.
