Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Lifecycle Support in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing visitor and employee access, monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional experience for everyone on site. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access credentials.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of security alarms.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)A background in customer service is required. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and customers.

• Loss Prevention (B210)Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is necessary. Candidates should understand the principles of theft prevention and risk management in a retail or corporate environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify identification and credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
