Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support a high-growth digital experience assurance program within a business process environment. This role will lead complex customer implementation projects for Cisco ThousandEyes, coordinate cross-functional technical resources, and help establish scalable project management practices for a newly formed project management function. The ideal candidate combines disciplined project delivery, network implementation knowledge, consultative client engagement, and executive-level communication.

Cisco ThousandEyes is a Digital Experience Assurance platform that helps organizations deliver consistent digital experiences across every network—even those they do not own. Powered by AI and an extensive set of cloud, internet, and enterprise network telemetry data, ThousandEyes enables IT teams to proactively detect, diagnose, and remediate issues before they affect end users. The platform is integrated across Cisco’s Networking, Security, Collaboration, and Observability portfolios, helping customers deploy at scale and gain AI-powered assurance insights.

The ThousandEyes team is a pioneering group within Cisco and is establishing its first dedicated Project Management function to support a rapidly expanding customer base. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and innovative, with a strong focus on solving complex challenges, continuous learning, and improving how value is delivered to customers. Responsibilities

Technical Project Manager – Digital Experience Assurance

BPO Client Program | Cisco ThousandEyes

• Oversee complex technical implementation projects, ensuring customer use cases are deployed seamlessly, on time, and within agreed scope.
• Build and refine internal project management processes from the ground up, establishing repeatable standards and best practices for the new PM team.
• Drive successful customer onboarding by serving as the primary point of contact and coordinating cross-functional resources to achieve project milestones.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk logs, status updates, and acceptance criteria across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Facilitate clear communication with senior stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve dependencies, mitigate risks, and secure formal project acceptance.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable project plans that improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Operate effectively within a BPO delivery model, maintaining strong client relationships, service quality, governance, and accountability across internal and client teams.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three years of professional project management experience.
• Experience completing at least one full IT software implementation project lifecycle.
• An active project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM.
• Documented experience maintaining or implementing LAN/WAN network environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage at least two concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, customer stakeholders, project risks, milestones, and formal acceptance requirements.

• Consultative expertise: Ability to manage project scope and boundaries through a strategic, solutions-oriented approach.
• Collaborative problem-solving: Skill in navigating complex challenges and developing mutually beneficial solutions for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Executive communication: Confident, articulate presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior-level partners.
• Adaptability and initiative: Ability to work independently, take ownership, and remain effective in fluid, evolving environments.
• BPO delivery experience: Experience supporting client programs, implementation services, managed services, technology-enabled operations in a BPO or outsourced delivery environment.
• Technical fluency: Working knowledge of enterprise networking, cloud services, digital experience monitoring, or observability solutions.
