The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting fire sprinkler projects from initial kickoff through completion. This role reviews plans and specifications, coordinates materials and schedules, tracks project progress, and helps ensure work is completed within established timelines and budgets. The Fire Sprinkler Project Manager works closely with customers, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to address project needs, resolve issues, maintain accurate documentation, and support the successful delivery of assigned projects.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage new installations of all types of water-based fire sprinkler systems
Responsible ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes and standards as well as looking for value engineering opportunities
Material buyout and product selection
Scheduling and labor coordination with both office and field personnel alike
Document control, contract scope review and maintain records of the project for both current and future use
Communicate and attend weekly design and project management meetings
Cost management, including identifying changes to the project scope that impact costs as well as ensure change orders and billings are submitted and paid in a timely manner
Assist with development, suitability and implementation of Risk Hazard Analyses
Conduct site surveys, onsite commissioning and owners training
Foster strong working relationships and rapport with customers, clients, subcontractors and colleagues
Other duties as assigned
Education & Qualifications:
6+ years of Fire Sprinkler experience required
3+ years of project management experience required
Computer literacy including MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel) applications required
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other applicable degree from a technical school or college preferred
NICET Water Based System certifications a plus
