Description
Travel Medical Assistant
If you’re a Medical Assistant who would rather bring preventive care into patients’ homes than spend every day in one clinic, this full-time W2 travel role puts you where your work can make an immediate difference. You’ll complete scheduled in-home wellness visits across U.S. markets, helping patients stay current on preventive care while working independently in a mobile field environment.
The Opportunity
This is a nationwide Travel Medical Assistant role connected to Prince George’s County, Maryland, with travel based on patient coverage needs across the U.S. You’ll support preventive visits such as Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits. The focus is not urgent care; it is patient-centered preventive care, care-gap support, relationship-building, and accurate documentation.
All required equipment will be provided. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, can manage a field-based workflow, and is comfortable with frequent travel assignments that may change week to week.
What You Will Own
- Complete scheduled home-based wellness visits with patients
- Support Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits
- Gather patient information and document visit details in an EMR/EHR system
