As a Manufacturing Senior Team Leader (Principal Manufacturing Engineer), you will serve as a technical and operational leader responsible for driving manufacturing performance, process optimization, and operational excellence. You will work closely with engineering, planning, maintenance, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes, support business objectives, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

As a Manufacturing Senior Team Leader (Principal Manufacturing Engineer), you will be responsible for:
Leading manufacturing operations and technical initiatives to support production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
Evaluating, improving, and redefining manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance operational performance and efficiency.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, planning, maintenance, and quality to identify and implement process improvements.
Providing technical guidance on manufacturing methods, tooling, process capability, and production optimization.
Analyzing manufacturing challenges and selecting appropriate technical approaches to improve operational outcomes.
Leading a manufacturing team and supporting workforce development through coaching, mentoring, and technical leadership.
Managing manufacturing resources, budgets, and operational priorities to achieve business objectives.
Identifying operational risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities and developing mitigation plans.
Coordinating multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely execution and delivery.
Driving continuous improvement activities focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
Supporting compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
Developing reports, recommendations, and presentations to communicate manufacturing performance and improvement strategies to business leaders and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Principal Manufacturing Engineer.
Have substantial experience in manufacturing engineering, production operations, or a related manufacturing environment.
Have experience leading manufacturing projects, process improvement initiatives, or operational programs.
Have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Have demonstrated ability to analyze complex manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions.
Have experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across engineering, planning, maintenance, quality, and operations functions.
Have strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
Have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present technical information effectively.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and lead teams.
Have the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Have a strong commitment to safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
