SHIFT: Sunday - Wednesday 7am-730pm
Are you mechanically inclined and interested in electrical systems or automation? Whether you've completed a trade school program or have some hands-on maintenance experience, we'd love to help you build your career.We're looking for a Maintenance Technician who is eager to learn and grow. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced technicians performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and learning how to maintain the systems that keep our facility running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates will have some experience with basic electrical troubleshooting and/or automation equipment.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
- Assist with maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps, and other mechanical equipment.
- Learn to inspect and maintain refrigeration systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- At automated facilities, assist with troubleshooting and maintaining:
- Photoelectric sensors
- Proximity switches
- Pressure switches
- Push buttons
- Basic automation components and testing equipment
- Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance tasks.
- Help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently while following all safety policies and procedures.
- Complete other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
- Trade school education or some hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
- Industrial maintenance
- Electrical maintenance
- Automation or controls
- Building maintenance
- Material handling equipment
- Refrigeration systems (Ammonia, Freon, or CO₂)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or automation components such as sensors, switches, relays, or motor controls is a plus.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well on a team.
- Eagerness to learn from experienced maintenance professionals.
Work Environment
- Work in a cold storage environment with temperatures as low as -20°F (company-provided freezer gear and PPE are provided).
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, as needed.
- Some facilities may have elevated noise levels or require working at heights.
