What you will be doing:
Open, sort, and prepare incoming payments, remittance documents, and related correspondence for processing.
Accurately enter payment and account information into designated systems following standard operating procedures and client-specific instructions.
Verify checks, payment amounts, remittance slips, account numbers, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Operate imaging, scanning, or payment-processing equipment to capture and validate documents.
Identify and escalate discrepancies, exceptions, or non-routine issues to the appropriate lead, supervisor, or support team.
Maintain required production, accuracy, quality, and turnaround-time standards.
Prepare, balance, and reconcile batches to ensure payments are processed correctly and timely.
Handle sensitive financial and customer information in accordance with company policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Support team goals by assisting in other production areas as business needs require.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm cst. On-site
What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer, keyboarding, and data-entry skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to meet established deadlines and productivity expectations.
