Job Title: MTI Math Instructor (Contractor, Part-Time, Hybrid)
Department: Workforce Development & Education
Reports To: Machinist Training Institute Manager
FLSA Status: Part-Time, Contractual
General Statement of Duties:
Instruct program participants in a classroom environment. Assess student performance and maintains student records.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Classroom instruction in Shop Mathemathics, and one or more of the following subjects: Computer Science, Material Handling, Logistics, CNC, Bluepring Reading, Robotics, or Welding.
- Assists the supervisor of academic instruction with the maintenance of student classroom discipline standards.
- Periodically evaluates student progress and documents the assessment.
- Assists student counselor in his/her activities to ensure student achievement of program training goals.
Supervision Received: Perform duties as assigned under the supervision of the Machinist Training Institute Manager.
Position will require between 15 and 20 hours per week from the hours of 9am - 2pm

Physical Requirements:

Education, Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on vocational education, math, or engineering, or journey person with at least five years' experience.
