Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a clear focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively supports collaboration among team members and stakeholders, monitors progress through relevant indicators, and helps the team continuously improve their processes to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between team members and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes accordingly.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ability to identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Skilled in using metrics and reporting tools to track team performance and project status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scrum.
- This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
