Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure optimal use and security of our systems and technologyEvaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware to improve operational efficiency and effectivenessLead the planning, budgeting, and implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and within allocated resourcesOversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hardware, software, and networking systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivityManage and provide technical support to end-users, addressing any IT-related issues and ensuring adequate training and resources are availableCollaborate with other departments to identify and address technology needs, and effectively communicate with staff at all levels to understand and meet their requirementsStay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations in IT, and make recommendations for improvement and complianceOversee the security and protection of the organization's data, network, and systems, and implement disaster recovery plans as neededManage and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of servicesLead and supervise a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a positive and productive work environmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a non-profit or social services settingStrong knowledge and experience with networking, telecommunications, servers, and cloud-based systemsProficient in project management, system administration, and creating and managing budgetsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of professionalsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure, and manage multiple projects and deadlinesPassionate about empowering individuals with disabilities and committed to the organization's mission and valuesCertifications such as ITIL, PMP, or Microsoft or Cisco are a plusWorking Conditions:This is a full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed. The IT Manager will primarily work in an office setting, but may also visit other Wingspan locations as needed.
