Life and Health Insurance Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and driven Life and Health Insurance Producer to join a team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a sales-driven environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service to clients. The successful candidate will focus exclusively on Life and Health insurance products, including individual and group policies. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a robust book of business and a supportive team, with the flexibility to grow and succeed in a hybrid work environment after an initial onboarding period.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: Up to $65,000 first year
- Commission Structure: 35% on new business, 25% on renewals
- Benefits: Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.
- Work Environment: Onsite initially, transitioning to a hybrid model (1-2 days in-office) based on performance and integration
Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and close sales for Life and Health insurance products, including individual life, fixed annuities, health/dental/vision, and group life, health, dental, disability, vision, HSA/FSA, and long-term care policies.
- Leverage a marketing budget to acquire leads through digital marketing, lead generation services, and other strategies.
- Engage with a book of 6,600 policies on the Property & Casualty side to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with individual and group clients to understand their needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to understand company culture, processes, and client interaction standards during the initial onboarding period.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Active Life and Health (L&H) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a sales-focused role, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Skills: Strong sales acumen, self-motivated, and a "hunter" mentality with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance-related software and tools is preferred.
- Work Ethic: Hungry to succeed, adaptable, and willing to invest time in understanding the company’s culture and processes.
