Customer Service Representative

Description

CarShield is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join its growing Customer Service team. In this role, you will assist existing customers with a wide range of questions and concerns while delivering accurate, professional, and responsive service in a fast-paced call center environment.

In this role, you will:

• Answer inbound calls from existing customers.
• Assist customers with general inquiries, payments, and questions regarding claims.
• Address customer concerns, make appropriate efforts to retain customers, and escalate issues when needed.
• Collaborate with the Finance and Administration teams to resolve customer needs.
• Maintain a positive, customer-first approach while delivering professional and responsive service.
• Maintain current knowledge of the products and services CarShield offers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits

• $17-$19 per hour plus performance bonus opportunities; average hourly earnings are approximately $20.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site at CarShield's headquarters in St. Peters, Missouri.
• At least one year of experience in a call center environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to receive and apply coaching and feedback.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to obtain the license required by the State of Missouri; CarShield supports the application process and fee.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
