Job Description Summary

This role is lean manufacturing capability leader to build capability across GE Vernova teams by supporting hands-on improvement efforts, training, and coaching. This role will work closely with site leaders, operators, and cross-functional teams to strengthen practices and help teams solve problems, improve performance, and build sustainable ways of working.
This role is focused primarily on learning, training, and development in manufacturing environments, with strong emphasis on practical application of lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Daily Management, Problem Solving, 5s, Standard Work, Kanban, SMED, and TPM. The person in this role will be expected to lead by example, teach through doing, and help build confidence and capability across the organization.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of training and capability-building programs such as Kaizen Facilitator Training, Lean Leader Development Experience, Problem Solving at GEV, etc.
• Facilitate hands-on workshops and training sessions on lean tools and methods, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Daily Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, Kanban, SMED, and TPM.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
• Lead and support kaizens and improvement initiatives in factory and transactional environments.
• Coach teams and leaders on lean behaviors, problem solving, and daily management practices.
• Help assess current lean capability and support development plans to build stronger ownership and engagement.
• Support deployment of the GE Vernova Operating Method through practical implementation and follow-up.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, inclusion, and learning.
• Ensure smooth Logistics & coordination for classes and programs
• Content development and improvements

 

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7 or more years of experience leading or supporting improvements in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with core tools, especially Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Standard Work, Daily Management, 5s, Problem Solving, Kanban, SMED, and TPM in complex environments
• Experience delivering training, coaching teams, or facilitating workshops.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work across functions and drive change at scale
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $144,000.00 and $240,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
