Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. You will provide professional service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff while contributing to a caring environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and compliance with facility access procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
