Overview
Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to support and maintain a mission-critical enterprise network environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring network stability, security, and performance across multiple locations, including support for a well-established aviation-related business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
- Provide remote and onsite support to multiple regional offices and outport sites
- Troubleshoot network incidents and coordinate with external vendors/partners for resolution
- Support communication systems, including:
- Walkie-talkie systems
- IP telephony infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and respond to incidents in a timely and efficient manner
- Handle client support calls, ensuring prompt and professional service
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration / engineering
- Solid understanding of:
- TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs
- Routing & switching protocols
- Familiar with network security concepts and firewall management
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure
- Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment is an advantage
- CCNA or equivalent certification preferred
