The Transition Manager is a critical role enabling end to end multi geography cross functional transitions (People, Process, Tech). A typical transition project could include –

• Transition of HQ / Region processes to GCC (Lift & Shift, Transform & Shift)
• Insource processes from third parties to GCC (Lift & Shift, Transform & Shift)
• Outsource
• New capability setup in the GCC
• Org Changes (Line reporting changes, Role consolidation etc.)

Additionally, the Transition Manager would have the opportunity to govern and manage a Complex portfolio of projects and programs in the IT space.

The Transition Manager occasionally may have to double-hat as a Change Manager and the role incumbent will require a solid understanding/experience leading the human aspects of the change.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Ensure all projects are governed using a robust delivery framework (Agile, Waterfall).
• Closely Manage Senior stakeholders and project teams based in different locations globally (mostly US).
• Strong RAID Log Management with timely escalation of risks for mitigation / issues for resolution.

Transition Management:

• Lead Discovery workshops to finalise transition scope and plan.
• Business Case development.
• Detailed Due Diligence, Solutioning (FTE Analysis, Volumetrics) and identification of opportunities to drive efficiencies.
• Oversee timely Recruitment, onboarding and knowledge transfer for the new team in the GCC.
• Ensure the new team in the GCC is operationally ready (Go Live) to deliver the transitioned scope.
• Ensure minimal disruption and risk mitigation during transitions.
• Ensure processes transitioned comply with governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or master's degree and more than 10+ years demonstrated experience of transitioning processes from HQ/ Regions to Shared Services, Captives, outsourcing partners etc.
• Familiarity with real time application of change management frameworks (PROSCI, ADKAR etc.)
• Transition Management experience across multiple functions (Tech, Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal etc.) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong fundamentals in Project Management, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Change Management.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects using Agile / waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Cross functional GCC setup experience.
• PMP, Prince 2 certified.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.).

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible - Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to the GCC at least 2 - 3 days per week
