Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Production Lead to join the Wilsonville, OR team!
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.
Shift: 6:00am - 3:00pm

## Position Overview:
The team lead provides manufacturing expertise, support, and direction within the assigned area. This role partners with the supervisor and VSM to coordinate, facilitate, and motivate team activities to meet or exceed High 5 objectives across safety, quality, delivery, cost, lean, and efficiency. Team leads model Eaton leadership behaviors by setting clear expectations and consistently demonstrating strong safety practices, ethical conduct, operational discipline, urgency, quality focus, standard work, 5S, product knowledge, effective communication, and professional presence.
In this function you will:
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date area Tier 1 boards and scheduling tools
- Collaborate with line leads and Production Line Control (PLC) to flex labor within the area as needed
- Coordinate with PLC to flex labor to and from other production lines
- Ensure Tier 1 boards contain current and accurate data, and lead Tier 1 meetings as required
- Train and support team members in effectively running Tier 1 meetings
- Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and PLC to identify and resolve production interrupters
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve drawing issues and discrepancies, and participate in drawing reviews as required.
- Communicate Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) and ensure all area documentation is current and accurate
- Perform required quality checks within the area
- Support rework activities and lead teams on major rework projects
- Complete 5‑Why analyses as assigned
- Ensure rework time is accurately documented in the NCR system
- Ensure training is completed and documented for Area-specific skills, 5S+ standards, Kanban processes, Safety observations, required quality checks, DMR/NCR processes, controlled documents, and access to process documentation
- Serve as back‑up for PLC functions as needed
- Maintain area tools and visual controls, including shadow boards
- Utilize Leader Standard Work (LSW) to manage daily activities and priorities
## Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing production environment
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel for data and metric reporting
- Experience with Gantt Charts and Production Scheduling processes
- Experience working with wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of material, and change notices
- KANBAN and inventory allocation systems experience
- Experience with quality control systems and reports
