Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Access Monitoring in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer service will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access points for a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, contractor access, deliveries, and/or unusual occurrences.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
