Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration within the team and across departments, helping to maintain momentum and transparency throughout the development process. Monitoring progress and providing updates to stakeholders are also key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring alignment and continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and promoting best practices within the team.
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their Agile understanding and foster a culture of accountability and self-organization.
- Assist junior team members in understanding Agile principles and adapting to the Scrum framework.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scrum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting Agile values and principles.
- Capability to analyze team metrics and use data-driven insights to improve team performance.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scrum.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
