Role overview
The Manager, Product Management – PD Life Cycle Management is responsible for leading global LCM strategy and execution for assigned Peritoneal Dialysis product portfolios.
This role operates at the intersection of upstream marketing, business ownership, technical execution, and operational sustainability, ensuring that commercial, customer, patient, regulatory, quality, supply, and manufacturing considerations are integrated into global product and portfolio decisions.
This role is expected to independently lead complex global LCM workstreams, influence cross-functional stakeholders across regions, shape recommendations for senior leadership, and drive alignment across global and regional teams.
The role will lead high-impact strategic initiatives and serve as the primary global representative for major sustaining programs.
What you'll do
Portfolio Strategy & Program Leadership
Lead global Life Cycle Management strategy and execution for assigned PD products, with responsibility for global portfolio sustainability, performance, and risk-based prioritization.
Manage complex and high-impact global PD product portfolios that require balancing customer outcomes, revenue sustainability, supply resilience, regulatory and quality requirements, regional needs, and operational efficiency.
- Drive prioritization of sustaining investments, product updates, issue resolution, supply continuity actions, and potential rationalization decisions.
- Serve as a key point of contact across regions and functions for assigned products and LCM initiatives.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Business lead representative in cross-functional teams or workstreams across Marketing, Business, R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and regional commercial organizations.
- Drive alignment, decision-making, and accountability across stakeholders with differing priorities and perspectives.
- Represent the GBU voice in Project Core Teams, technical teams, governance forums, and escalation discussions.
Strategic Contribution & Business Ownership
- Shape portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, platform evolution, and long-term sustaining priorities for assigned PD products.
- Develop and present data-driven recommendations to senior leaders, including assessment of trade-offs, risks, benefits, investment needs, and operational implications.
- Lead business case development and decision support for major LCM initiatives, product changes, issue resolution, and portfolio optimization opportunities.
- Partner with regional and functional stakeholders to ensure portfolio decisions reflect customer needs, patient impact, business performance, and execution feasibility.
Compliance, Risk & Issue Management
- Ensure LCM strategies and decisions account for applicable regulatory, quality, compliance, supply, and industry standards.
- Lead structured responses to significant operational, quality, supply, or customer-impacting issues, including escalation preparation and decision framing.
- Embed proactive risk identification and mitigation into sustaining plans and portfolio governance.

Professional Experience
- Typically, 7+ years of experience, in product management, marketing, R&D, project/program management, operations, healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or a related function.
- Demonstrated experience leading portfolio, lifecycle, sustaining, or cross-functional programs in a global healthcare or regulated environment.
- Solid understanding of regulatory, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial considerations in healthcare preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, life sciences, healthcare, clinical/scientific discipline, or a related field required; MBA, master’s degree, or relevant advanced certification as an asset.
Additional Requirements
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with portfolio management, analytics, project management, or reporting tools preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% as business needs require.
