Position Overview:
The Benefits Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, compliance, and strategic management of health & welfare benefit programs and leave of absence policies. This role ensures that all benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, and support employee well-being. The Benefits Manager collaborates closely with HR, payroll, legal, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class benefits experiences to employees, drive process improvements, and maintain regulatory compliance.

Your Impact:
As the Benefits Manager, you will shape and lead the administration of health & welfare plans (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, etc.) and leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, parental leave, etc.). You will serve as the primary point of contact for benefit inquiries, resolve complex cases, and partner with stakeholders to ensure smooth processes. Your expertise will enable continuous improvement, accurate reporting, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will drive communication, education, and engagement initiatives to help employees maximize their benefits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
7-10 years of progressive benefits administration and people management experience, with direct responsibility for health & welfare and leave of absence programs (10+ years strongly desired; 7 years minimum)
Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
Experience with benefits administration systems and vendor management
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional certifications (CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $129,000 - $193,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
