Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated team player to assist in carrying out duties in conjunction with the mixing of raw materials and spices. If you enjoy working with your hands in a fast-paced, cold environment and value precision and cleanliness, we want to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grinding procedure, including the operation of the following machines: combo dumper, grinder, screw conveyor, mixer, and mill
- Formulate pre-blends and final blends. Load and unload mixer
- Shovel meat in preparation of final formulation
- Supply raw materials to grinding room
- Supply ready to stuff product to stuffing room
- Sanitize production equipment including linker/clip machines using approved cleaning methods.
- Ensure proper HACCP tagging and help maintain documentation accuracy.
- Follow all company safety and food safety protocols including SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and MIOSHA standards.
- Work in refrigerated conditions throughout the shift.
Work Hours:
- Typical start time is 5:00 AM, Monday–Friday. 8–10-hour shifts.
- Schedule and start times may vary based on production needs.
- Flexibility is required, including weekend availability as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs., twist, bend, and stand for 8+ hours in a cold environment.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
