The project manager will be part of the Service design and transaction team handling bigger project originated in the Operations department in Nødnett

Job Description

The project manager (PM) will be part of the Service design and transition team in the Nødnett Operations group, responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of the Nødnett.

The Project Manager leads project planning, budgeting, progress tracking, and

optimization, focusing on cost efficiency, risk management, and stakeholder relations.

Key duties include delivering the contractual scope on time and within budget,

generating commercial purchase offers for clients, and managing subcontractors to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products

or services.  

• Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new
• or upgraded existing products or services.  
• Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking
• and evaluation of project performance.  
• Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted
• quality metrics.
• Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project
• status.
• Utilizes project management methodologies to ensure maximum
• project effectiveness.
• Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.  
• May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to
• take advantage of business opportunities.
• Prepares commercial purchase offers for customers and oversees change order
• management to ensure all deliverables align with project specifications and
• contractual requirements.
• Handles several projects in parallel

Basic Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of project management experience in telecom
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in telecom required or relevant business experiences. Formal Project management training
• Languages: Ability to speak, write and communicate clearly in English, Norwegian is desirable
• Soft Skills: Must be a self-motivated team player capable of working effectively under general guidance. Requires excellent collaboration, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and decision-making skills, combined with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple parallel projects.

• Security: The candidate may be required to obtain authorization for access to information classified as RESTRICTED (BEGRENSET) in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act and applicable regulations.
