About the Role

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our Network Operations Centre team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, South East, you will be responsible for the engagement, onboarding, compliance management and ongoing support of our subcontractor partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, ensuring operational compliance and working with data to drive positive business outcomes
What You'll Do
Manage the onboarding, prequalification and compliance requirements of subcontractor delivery partners.
Maintain accurate compliance records, contracts, insurances, accreditations and documentation.
Monitor subcontractor compliance through the TGE Contracts Portal and Safety Culture platform.
Partner with owner-drivers, fleet operators and subcontractor representatives to provide advice and guidance on compliance requirements.
Generate reports and analyse compliance and performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
Support audits, investigations and remediation activities relating to compliance and operational performance.
Coordinate contractor inductions and ensure all mandatory requirements are completed.
Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders including Operations, Procurement, Legal, HSE and Finance teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on service, cost, compliance and contractor performance.
What You'll Bring
Experience in transport, compliance, contracts administration or a related field.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of documentation and data accurately.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with reporting tools.
Knowledge of heavy vehicle legislation, transport operations or contractor compliance requirements - nice to have
The ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
