Description
Finance ERP Consultant / Manager
Most finance transformations start with the system. Ours start with the operating model, and the technology comes second. We're Accenture's NLN Finance practice across the Nordics and the Netherlands, and you'd be based in Copenhagen, working with CFOs across the region on the whole of finance transformation — strategy, planning, reporting, data and the ERP that ties it together — alongside our EPM and finance-platform people in Amsterdam and the Nordics.
You are
You're the kind of finance person who sees the whole function — strategy and operating model, planning and reporting, the technology underneath — not just one piece of it. You know finance operating models well enough to redesign them, and you're as comfortable framing a CFO's ambition as choosing the technology to deliver it. You're interested in how data and AI change planning, reporting and decision-making, and you like being the person who can explain the numbers behind a decision.
The work
- Shape the finance strategy, operating model and organization design, then the technology to deliver them.
- Redesign enterprise performance management: planning, forecasting, profitability and cost.
- Modernize management and statutory reporting, group consolidation and the close.
- Bring data, analytics and AI into finance, and stand up intelligent finance operations.
- Streamline the transactional core (R2R, O2C, P2P) on whichever ERP fits the client.
- Improve what the CFO is measured on: performance, enterprise value, cost, working capital and ESG reporting.
At Manager level you'll also lead workstreams and a small team, drive the change
management that makes a new model stick, and help grow the business by shaping proposals, developing accounts and winning the next phase of work.
Must have
- Finance transformation delivery experience across the function, from operating model to technology, on any major ERP.
- A strong grasp of the full CFO agenda: strategy and operating model, EPM and reporting, data and AI, and the transactional cycles (R2R, O2C, P2P).
- Professional working English; a Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish or Norwegian) is a plus.
Nice to have
- Data modelling, analytics and visualization skills; exposure to AI or machine learning in finance.
- A finance qualification, or a degree or equivalent practical experience.
What we look for
Three things matter to us as much as your track record:
- Your heart is in the right place. Your success never comes at the expense of your team.
- You roll up your sleeves. You do the actual work and sweat the detail, whatever your title.
- You're exceedingly bright, in whatever form that takes — sharp analysis, commercial instinct, or reading a room. You apply it where it counts, for the client.
As a Consultant that means owning real work end to end and making the team better; as a Manager, leading by doing and knowing which problem is worth solving.
What we offer
And three things you can expect from us:
- Bleeding-edge consulting. You'll work at the AI frontier, grounded in the classical virtues of good consulting.
- Warm and wise values. We do what's right for the company, with consistent consideration for the individual.
- A professional team. We're both a career platform and a launching pad: build a long career here, or take what you learn onward.
Pay & process
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.
- Location and languages: Copenhagen, hybrid. English required, Danish preferred.
- Using AI in your application: We're glad if you use AI; it's part of how we work. Optionally, attach a short AI workpaper alongside your CV: how you used it, what you changed, and how you kept your own judgment and voice in the result. It's a bonus, never a requirement. If this is new to you, you'll grow into it here; if you're already there, show us.
- How to apply: Apply now. Accenture is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background and make accommodations on request. Just ask.
