Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This position requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software development, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining high standards for development practices, ensuring that solutions are scalable, performant, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration with various stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product outcomes.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and optimize application performance.
- Skilled in code review practices and maintaining high code quality standards.

Design Patterns
Performance optimization, Solid principles, use of annotations, write code using the Java 8 Stream API, Knowledge of Java 8 + ,17, 21. Core Java and bring in experience in spring boot. Java, Spring boot, Rest API, Postgres SQL - PostgreSQL nice to have, rest mandatory.
In Java they are mostly looking for strengths in Java 8, multithreading, exposure and understanding of Java 17 and 21 features, OOPs, Spring Boot knowledge and good understanding of DBs and system design. Project is based in Information collection domain which involved dealing and managing different kinds of forms and documents. consists of diff web apps (5-6) which are inter-related and forms an ecosystem and looking for developers to develop and manage them.
- Spring Boot: An idea on Spring bean lifecycle, AOP, Spring Boot Proxy, Transaction Management and to describe scenarios involving Bean scope., Spring Boot advantages and internal implementation of autoconfiguration annotation and ther annotations usage.
- Core Java/Java 8: To write a code snippet for a Functional Interface using lambda expressions and stream API. Similarly, explaining the concept of Immutability in Core Java, etc.


Non Technical expectations -
1. Open to communication with everyone about their work (specially with Leads and Product Owner)
2. Knowledge of scrum, agile way of doing things.
3. To be confident, demonstrate a good understanding of the fundamentals, and showed eagerness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks, which aligns well with the primary responsibilities.


Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Pune client's office in Kharadi with RTO - 3 days
- A 15 years full time education is required.
